CR 400
CR 400 is an acoustic insulation material made from two layers of a layer of class 1/F1 thermo-linked polyester fibres (Silsonic) and between them there is an elastomeric high-density mass.CR 400 is suitable for the thermal and acoustic comfort of automobile and heavy transport industry products. In construction, Mappysil CR 400 is ideal for thermoacoustic insulation of walls and ceilings
Pipe Lag
An eco-friendly panel for acoustic and thermal insulation of pipes and ductwork. It is a composite material consisting of three layers: an aluminium foil finish reinforced with fiberglass scrim that provides mechanical strength and corrosion resistance; a high density flexible eco-vinyl limp available in different weights to increases the mass and to improve the sound insulation; a polyester mat to decouple the heavy barrier from the noise source. The polyester fibres are safe and do not pose any health risk. Furthermore they are environment-friendly because they obtained from post consumer PET plastic bottles.
CR 404
It is a composite material consisting of three layers:
– aluminum foil finish reinforced with fiberglass scrim that provides mechanical strength and corrosion
resistance
– high density flexible eco-vinyl limp class 0 (upon request), 2 mm, 3.6, 4 kg/m2 to increases the mass and
to improve the sound insulation
– polyester mat 25 mm, 30 kg/m3 to decouple the heavy barrier from the noise source.
It has a very low flammability in fact it is classified as Class A according to ASTM E 84 (flame spread index = 10, smoke dev. index = 40).
The polyester fibers are safe and do not pose any health risk. Furthermore they are environment-friendly because they obtained from post consumer PET plastic bottles.
